Just like any other Walmart. Busy busy busy. Associates do answer questions promptly.
It's a typical Walmart, I go in after midnight, get what I want and leave , hassle free. My issue is that on some items, WM charges up to 30% more here than in Syracuse; I'm not talking about subsidized items like milk or cheese either.
For future reference, I recommend updating non-critical systems first, restarting those, and then updating and restarting the critical systems one register at a time so the majority of registers are online. This will speed up the restart times and ensure lines can still be moved as there will be registers open while other registers restart.
When we arrived at the only open register, the employee wasn't there. We assumed they were helping another employee or customer and would be back shortly, so we loaded the groceries onto the conveyor. A few minutes later, the employee arrived and informed us their systems were down due to a system update. Having already gathered a cart full of necessary groceries, and not wanting to repeat the task at a later time, we decided to wait. It took 20 minutes of standing there while our frozen groceries thawed and our eggs and milk warmed before the system finally came back online. The employee scanned a little over half of our groceries before the systems went down again. About 10 minutes later, the system came back online and had not saved the scanned items, so they had to rescan everything that was already bagged in our cart. The entire ordeal was very frustrating and unpleasant.
It's okay, we mainly use it for grocers and then just certain items. People are helpful and polite! It's a connivance being open 24/7. Going in at early hours in morning help from a crowded store!
Left waiting 30 minutes at the register with a cart full of groceries because their systems were "updating".
I was in the store, long lines again, so went to self check-out where I tried to buy a gift card. The hardest thing ever! The person who is supposed to help you, didn't know either and she didn't even care when I said if it so hard then I guess I won't get it...she said OK! We'll I guess I won't be giving walmart gift cards...doesn't matter anyway, you have lots of customers to take my place! lol
